The Randy Mac Biography

Randy McLelland was born in Pasadena, Texas and grew up in the (then) small community of Mont Belvieu, located north of Baytown, Texas. After graduating from high school in 1973, he went to work in the industrial area along the Houston ship channel. After working as a pipe-fitter for almost 10 years he was laid off during the "oil crunch" of the early eighties.

Randy then worked in the insurance business for three years and it was during this time that God called him to full time ministry. He has served as a youth minister in three Baptist churches over a 13 year period. In October of 1997 Randy was blessed with the opportunity to start his own ministry, fulfilling a dream he'd had for many years. Randy has been entertaining and speaking for years, getting his start during his school years. His classmates seemed to really enjoy his humor, however, his teachers usually didn't. "I think it was because they just didn't understand my jokes" says Randy with a smile.

During his youth ministry years he became known as "Randy Mac", the name has stayed with him and he began to use it on his radio work. Randy Mac is currently a pastor at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship where casual dress is fine but the worship is far from boring. Cornerstone is located near Glen Rose, Texas so if your ever in the area be sure to visit. Because of his wide range of God-given abilities he is able to work with almost any group for almost any occasion.
